We are very excited to have just added Sarah Albrecht, Assistant Coach at Harvard, and an All-World Attacker on last summer’s World Cup Gold medal team as a Co-Director with Christy Finch. Christy was a 4-Time National Champion, 2 -Time First Team All-American, Tewaaraton Trophy Finalist, and National Defender of the Year at Northwestern. She is currently an Assistant Coach at Cincinnati and a member of the US National Elite Team.

*Players will be separated into groups based on age & experience.

Players will learn the newest stick skills and concepts. The goal is to provide top-notch instruction and inspire kids to play lacrosse across the nation and raise their game to the next level

The University of New Hampshire Women’s Lacrosse Program has announced a pair of summer camps: the 2010 Girls Climbing Cat Lacrosse Day Camp and 2010 Girls Top Cat Elite Lacrosse Overnight Camp. Both camps run from June 27-30.

GameBreaker Lacrosse is offering a Boy’s Lacrosse camp this summer at Brewster Academy on August 6th through August 9th.

This will be an instructional camp and will be staffed by current college coaches and players and run by Marc Graham, the Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Trinity College.

The goal of the Gold Medal Lacrosse Camp is to provide intensive instruction to young men and women in the game of lacrosse. Campers can experience picturesque New Hampton, and the outstanding facilities that the New Hampton School has to offer. Emphasis will be given to sportsmanship, fundamentals and teaching. Campers will learn advanced lacrosse progressions, concepts, skills and techniques in an overnight setting. Three divisions (youth, middle school and high school) highlight each player’s ability and level of experience.

US Lacrosse is again offering an NH All Star Program. This is a great program that promotes lacrosse , post season , at a competitive level . Lets get some NH players on the map . We would like to see these teams as competitive as possible . Please remember that US Lacrosse is allowing age eligible 9th graders to compete at the U-15 level .

All registration information is in the brochures for the U15 Boys National Championship Team and U13 2010 NH Boys and Girls All Star Program which will compete in the 12th Annual New England Youth Lacrosse All-Star Tournament.

Tryouts will be the first week in May so sign up now!

Now is your chance to be part of NH Tomahawks Club Lacrosse, recognized by Inside Lacrosse as one of the top club teams in the U.S. & Canada!

Last summer the Tomahawks high school elite teams had the top players represented from over 50 high schools and prep schools!

New this summer, NH Tomahawks is expanding the development teams to include U-11!

Summer Team Try Out Dates:

U-11 (2 teams), U-13 (2 teams) & U-15 (2 teams): May 23 & 24

U-19 (3 teams): June 13 & 14

U-16 (1 team), U-17 (2 teams): June 15 & 16

If age eligible, players can try out for any level they choose. If not selected, they are still eligible to try out for another team.

Try-outs will be held @ The Derryfield School.  Players are encouraged to make both tryouts but required to make Pre-register online or by mail: $25

Summer Camp Opportunities for Boys & Girls:

Boys 7-17 years:  Granite State Lacrosse Camp @ Bedford, NH

Girls K-12th grade:  Womenslax.com Day Camp @ Bedford, NH

Beginning March 6th NH Sportsplex will be offering a U9 Boys Lacrosse program. The program will consist of 45 minutes of skills and training, followed by 45 minutes of instructional scrimmaging to teach proper position, etc.

This 8 week program will be lead by Mike Fawcett and Jeff Smith. Mike is a former St. Anselm player and currently plays for the Warpigs in the American Lacrosse League. Jeff is a former SUNY Potsdam player and is also currently a player for the Warpigs.

Session Dates:  Saturdays March 6th – April 24th, 5:00-6:30pm

The Level 2 Youth Official Training for Returning Youth Officials will be held on Sunday March 21st, 2010 at the Londonderry Middle School, Room #114. The training will begin promptly at 8:00 AM and be finished by 1:30 PM.

Returning Youth Officials must bring their

1. 2010 NFHS Rule Book (obtained for free when you register as an official with US Lacrosse). Players with US Lacrosse player memberships must also register as an official.
2. Bring proof of current official membership –your US Lacrosse membership card or the email that they send when you register (must have a September 30, 2010 expiration date). All official memberships expire on September 30th of each year.
3. MDOC Level 1 and Level 2 Officials Training Manual that they received last year (set up for a 3 ring binder).
4. Finally, we will be giving and correcting the test at the class so bring something dependable to write with and read over your 2010 Rule Book and 2009 Training Manual prior to attending the training
